By attending the sale or participating as a buyer or consignor, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out below.
- Woodward Horse Sale acts as an agent only and is not responsible for buyer/seller misunderstanding. ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND GUARANTEES ARE STRICTLY BETWEEN THE BUYER AND SELLER.
- All buyers must register with the office prior to bidding in the sale. Upon completion of registration, buyers will be issued their respective number for purchases to be billed to. Bids will NOT be accepted from buyers without an authorized buyer number. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- To bid online, buyers must apply for approval ahead of time and will not be permitted to bid online unless the appropriate financial information is obtained before sale day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Horses bought online must be paid for by cash or credit card, due at the time of purchase, and be loaded out within 24-hours of the conclusion of the sale.
- Those buying online MUST contact the office or Luke Hale within 15-minutes of the gavel falling to arrange for payment and transportation, otherwise the horse will be resold in their name and responsible for any difference owed including all relevant sales charges.
- Terms of the sale are cash and payment in full which must be made to the office immediately after the sale. No horses will be released until this condition is met and a load-out is issued by the office. This includes No Sales/Pass Outs.
- Upon receipt of payment, the office will issue an order to load-out, as well as any corresponding registration papers. Buyers assume all expenses and risks once the horse has left the auction ring. Buyers also are solely responsible for transfer of registration.
- Woodward Horse Sale and its management assume no liability on its part or on the part of the seller as to any errors or omissions regarding horses sold.
- ALL consignments MUST go through the sale ring. ALLEY TRADING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- All known defects will be announced before each horse is started. Every horse will be sold under this rule. No horse can be rejected by buyer once struck off by the auctioneer. The seller guarantees all mares to be bred as indicated in the catalog or announced in the ring. They will be sold as is and without return privileges unless otherwise stated.
- Consignors have the privilege to No Sale/Pass Out horses when struck off by the auctioneer. ALL No Sales/Pass Outs MUST BE DECLARED IN THE RING. Once the horse has exited the ring, it is considered sold unless this condition is met.
- Only authorized riders and registered buyers are permitted to enter the pens and areas within the fenced perimeter. All others are prohibited from entering pens, unload, or load-out areas within the fenced perimeter.
- Woodward Horse Sale, Woodward Livestock Auction, and its management will not be responsible for ANY accidents on the premises.
