Sex: Mare

TFR Colonel Peppy

TFR Colonel Peppy is a AQHA-registered, proven and reliable broodmare with a strong record of raising quality foals. This mare is selling as a THREE-IN-ONE package: carrying a 2026 foal by Apache War Jean 7429 while also raising a colt on her side by the same sire. She has consistently produced a colt every year since 2020 and has always foaled without issue, breeding back on the first exposure.

Thunder War Smile

Thunder War Smile is a classy bay filly with the pedigree and foundation to make a solid mount. Sired by proven ranch and cattle bloodlines out of the Haythorn Land and Cattle breeding program up at Aurther Neb, she is bred to work and handle a cow. Her dam is a Skipper W mare that is known for how well she will watch a cow, and her siblings have all been easy to start.

NOTE: this filly does have an extruded navel, but experience shows horses typically grow out of it by two to three years old.

SissyBaby

SissyBaby is a gentle, kind mare that’s easy to be around and always consistent. She has been hauled and ridden all over, used as a ranch horse to check pens, sort cattle, and put in a day’s work without any fuss. She’s the same every ride, no matter how long she’s been turned out.

This mare would make a fantastic barrel or playday prospect for a youth looking to step up, or just as easily suit someone wanting a reliable partner to trail ride and enjoy. NOTE: She does carry a small scar on her front foot.

Double the Cat

This is a cowy, athletic 2-year-old mare with all the try and ability you could ask for. She has already been used in every aspect of ranch work — roping and doctoring cattle, gathering, and sorting. This summer she has been making a living backgrounding cattle outside and has proven herself dependable and willing. Quiet, no buck, and very trainable, this young mare shows tremendous potential to excel in the arena as a heel or breakaway horse. She is the kind that can go on to make a versatile ranch and rope horse with plenty of future ahead.

Barlink Sent Lindy

“Disney” is a double-registered mare with all the chrome and eye appeal you could ask for. With her bald face, four high white socks, and striking blue eyes, she’ll get noticed everywhere you go. She’s correct in her conformation and would make an excellent addition to a broodmare program or could be finished out to ride in the discipline of your choice.

Under saddle, Disney is quiet, soft, and willing. She’s been primarily used for trail riding, but she has a solid foundation in the arena — loping soft, collected circles, has a nice stop, and backs up with ease. She sells 100% sound and is UTD on vaccinations, shoes, and worming. Call Trevor at 406-570-4936 for more information.

Cowboy Playin Paddy

‘Jewel’ is a 10-year-old AQHA-registered mare that has been started on barrels and poles, used to doctor and drag calves, and loves working cattle. With her quick feet and cow sense, she shows tremendous potential to be a standout breakaway or team roping horse. She’s kid-friendly—my nieces and nephews have ridden her—and she’s been used in princess and queen competitions, carried flags, and ridden bridleless. Jewel has seen it all from parades and trails to busy roads. She loads, hauls, stands quietly for the farrier, and meets you at the gate when called. Standing 15.3 hands and sired by lines going back to Paddy’s Irish Whiskey and Playgun, she’s an easy keeper with no quit in her. When you’re done using her, her pedigree, mind, and build make her an exceptional broodmare prospect.
