Horses can be dropped off beginning Friday, May 8 at 8:00 a.m. at Woodward Livestock Auction.
The open ride preview will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8th at the Woodward Round Up Club Arena. We will have ranch trail equipment and cattle available. Riders can choose how to spend their allotted time in the arena.
The sale will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9 and will be streamed through DV Auction.

Own daughter of CD Olena, out of a daughter of Smart Little Lena, but unfortunately her paperwork was lost years ago and grandpa chose not to find them. Cute, athletic made, 14.1 hand mare that had raised numerous foals that have all made outstanding ranch and roping horses. She is reproductively sound. Weaned a nice filly by Little Dulces Rey in 2025. Was not bred for a 2026 foal. Was trained as a cutter as a 3 & 4 year old, rides handy and is still trail ridden occasionally.

This good mare has produced numerous outstanding foals and is currently bred to a big stout Palomino Stallion, Wills Golden Fox, producer of multiple successful performance & using horses. AAR Quick Trigger is a 2021 AQHA bay gelding standing 14.3hh with a lot of athletic ability.
Jesse has been ridden off and on since last fall and has a solid start. He short lopes collected circles, has a good stop, and wants to plant a foot and turn around. He’s not finished but shows all the right pieces to go on and be a really nice one on the ranch or in the arena.

He’s a jack of all trades: been used in playdays and has experience in goats, barrels, and poles. He’s also been used outside moving, sorting, and working cattle.
He can be roped off of, trails a dummy, but does not love coming out of a roping box. He has more go than whoa, needs a handy rider that is in control.

This 2-year-old sorrel mare is bred to get you to the pay window.

She’s bred to be a cutter, with both sides of her dam carring NCHA earnings. This is one ready to head to the trainer and get rolling.

Dixie sells as a two-in-one package – she’s a 2020 buckskin AQHA mare in foal with a colt on her side.
Dixie stands 14.2 hands and is the kind that’s easy to be around, is quiet, gentle, and always in your back pocket wanting attention. She was started as a 2-year-old by a cutting trainer and has a good foundation. As a yearling, she injured a hind leg, but she is sound on that leg.
On her side is her first baby, and she is a great mama. The colt is by The Big O and was born March 30. He’s already been handled, will pick up his feet, and has been rubbed on. The Big O is a proven ranch and roping stud known for his quiet, good-minded disposition and he passes that on to his colts.

Juice has been day worked since late in his 2-year-old year, handling everything from back pens and feedlots to roping big cattle out on pasture. He’s the kind that shows up every day and goes to work, with plenty of pull to the horn and the kind of try you can’t teach.

Solanos Gold Cat is a 2020 AQHA palomino gelding standing 15.3 hands and weighing ~1,200 lbs. He’s the kind of all-around ranch horse that’s been there and done it.
Dusty has seen plenty of real work, used in the feedyard, gathered cattle all the way out to New Mexico, sorted cattle, doctored and shipped yearlings, and been part of draggings and competed in ranch rodeos. He’s also been started on the head side and is ready to be finished your way.

Brutus is a 4-year-old crossbred, grade buckskin gelding standing 15.2 hands with a gentle, easy-going personality.
He has been used on the ranch for loading, sorting, and checking cattle, and handles a day’s work with ease. Despite his age, he is quiet and level-headed. Brutus rides well outside and is confident on the trails, crossing water, logs, and other obstacles without issue. He has a nice lope, a good collected stop, and a smooth one-hand turnaround.

Dazzle is a beautiful 12 hand dapple gray mare with a long, eye-catching mane and nice shape. She is sound and best suited for a handy youth rider. Red is a three-year-old filly that is double bred Dual Pep and out of a daughter of Dual Pep. She is quiet, started really well, and has been ridden outside extensively on the trails. She has a good foundation and a willing mindset.
She did get sick over the winter and lost a significant amount of weight, so she is not currently in excellent sale condition. However, she is gaining weight back and is on the upswing.
With her pedigree and start, this filly has a lot of potential. If you’re looking for a genuine diamond in the rough, she is one to take a look at – she just needs some feed and a little TLC.

Rusty is a 7-year-old sorrel gelding standing 14.2 hands and is gentle enough for the whole family.
He has been used for all aspects of ranch work, including sorting cattle, roping in the pasture, and riding on a loose rein while checking cows. Silver has a nice big bone, he has never bucked or got fresh with us even with time off. You can ride him quiet on a loose rein and has been used to doctor cattle on the ranch. He also great on trails.

Brutus is a 6-year-old, 1300-pound, black crossbred grade gelding standing 15.2hh. He is 100% sound with absolutely zero bad habits. He’s big enough to drag whatever you rope, has a really smooth lope, and a nice handle. Has a good mouth, and is an excellent pick up and bull dragging horse. He is great for ranch work and awesome on the trails!
Miss Poco Watch JDAR

2025 Sorrel Filly – JD stands tied and halter broke and picks up all four feet. She will be able to go in any direction of performance. We own her sire and dam and both have been used extensively on the ranch. Filly is very quit and would make great kid horse when she finished.
