Consigned Horses for the September 19th Horse Sale
Cowboy Play Frost (Roo)
- Consigned by: Kenny Rounds
Roo is a 21-year-old ranch gelding that has been owned by the consignor for several years. He’s a strong, stout horse and the kind they saddle when there’s a job that needs done.
He’s been used checking wheat pasture and grass cattle and has roped cattle outside in the pasture. Roo doesn’t get ridden as often as he used to, through no fault of his own, but when it’s time to saddle up and go, he doesn’t offer to buck or rear.
The consignor has his registration papers but never received a signed transfer, so Roo sells as grade. A seasoned ranch gelding with years of experience behind him.
Dees Resort (Fritzy)
- Consigned by: Kenny Rounds
Fritzy is a home-raised mare with a strong foundation and proven using horses behind her. Her sire is currently being used by the consignor’s son in junior rodeos, and her grandsire was a tie-down horse that competed at the Cinch Timed Events. Her dam was also raised by the consignor and goes back to some of their best ranch horses.
Fritzy has spent the last year being ridden on the ranch, putting real miles and experience under her. With her ranch foundation and performance bloodlines, she’s ready to go in whichever direction you choose, whether that’s continuing as a ranch horse or developing into a performance horse.
BH GEORGIAS RYTHYM (Reba)
- Consigned by: Tyrena Markus
Reba is a young prospect standing 15.1hh with a good start on the basics. She loads and backs out of the trailer, bathes, stands for trimming, and will stand tied all day. She’s also currently being worked with on clipping her bridle path.
Reba is homozygous roan through her parents and is expected to mature into a big, stout mare. She’s been handled and is ready to continue growing and developing before moving on to the next stage of her training.

Race Cow Cross Performance Prospect.
Sired by the Iconic NOTORIOUS B I G, eligible for all the major rope horse incentive programs: Riata Buckle, Royal Crown, Gold Buckle & ARHFA Top Gun with earnings in excess of $120,000.
Complete with a running bred mare that produces nice rope horses, this 3 yr old filly is very well broke and started on the roping sled. She brings a good mind, stays quiet and is a good teammate.
Currently standing 14.1 hands, she has the composition, genetics and foundation to make an outstanding performance horse.
BH Romeo Wood (Romeo)
- Consigned by: Havilah Stude
Romeo is by the perlino stallion Goose Wood and out of a 16-hand grulla mare by Romeo Blue, giving him a pedigree packed with good using horses. His papers list him as buckskin, but he will color test smoky black.
He stands 14.3 hands and is wrapping up a good start and has already been exposed to a variety of work. Romeo has been started on the cutting flag, is beginning to swing a rope, and will walk, trot, and lope both directions. He’s been ridden on trails, opens gates, and has been hauled extensively to day work at the feedlot.
A young prospect with a solid foundation and plenty of experience to build on, ready to continue in whichever direction you choose.
Young Disco Rose (Bailey)
- Consigned by: Chelsea Shannon
Bailey is a 17-year-old, 14.1hh mare with experience in both the reining and barrel racing arenas. She was started in reining as a 3-year-old and later went on to run barrels and poles.
A stifle injury left Bailey no longer performance sound, although she can still be ridden. She was bred to PC Frenchmans Kid in June 2026 and was confirmed 90 days in foal on August 20, 2026.
Bailey sells as a bred mare with a performance background and is due to foal in 2027.
NOTE: No longer performance sound due to a past stifle injury.

Theodore
- Consigned by: Brenda Dinges
Alvin & Theodore are best buddies looking for a new home where they can get back to doing what they love most: being spoiled by kids and soaking up ALL the attention. Both are very small, easy to catch, tie out on a line to graze, and love being bathed, hugged, kissed, and pampered. They’ve been favorites at parades.
Theodore brings plenty of personality of his own. He’s convinced he’s a descendant of Metallic Cat and occasionally identifies as a border collie. 🤠
A home with children and plenty of attention would suit these two perfectly.
NOTE: Both Alvin and Theodore are cryptorchids and would do best at a home without mares.
